Original full colour Album Proof or Slick for the Beatles LP, Please Please Me in March /April 1963.
As can be seen the MONO / STEREO wording is missing from the top, this was because it was added later in the printing process.
The "Photo: Angus McBean" wording starts directly below the "S" in Songs.
This denotes that this was used for both the very first gold label vinyl pressings including the STEREO gold!!.
Included here are a few other slicks that came with the beatles one including "Session with The Dave Clark Five" and a Cliff Richards Hits and a Frank Sinatra slick amongst others.!
